This highly popular community event has been a consistent highlight of the annual January Series at Nichols Concert Hall.  Elementary, high school and college students, parents, members of church congregations from throughout Lake and Cook Counties and many other members of the community attend this lively and spiritually inspiring concert.

An additional highlight this year is a special tribute to Bishop Arthur M. Brazier and Sister Isabelle Brazier, to be presented by the Music Institute of Chicago.  Bishop Brazier, who retired as Pastor of the Apostolic Church of God in 2008, served as one of the most notable, visionary, and spiritual leaders of the Church for more than 48 years.  Sister Isabelle Brazier has also served as a visionary leader for the Church, initiating numerous programs that reach into many communities and has been credited with establishing important partnerships with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Music Institute of Chicago that have brought orchestral music to the youth of the Apostolic Church of God.

More about the Brotherhood Chorale
The nationally-recognized Brotherhood Chorale was founded in Chicago in 1969 with less than 30 members.  Under the guidance of its current and visionary director, Brian Rice, the Brotherhood Chorale has built an impressive repertoire and grown to approximately 180 members.  In addition to performing every fourth Sunday for service, the choir sings outside the church and has been the featured guest of the South Shore Cultural Center and the Chicago Civic Orchestra, among others.

All proceeds from this concert will benefit the William Warfield Endowned Scholarship Fund.
