Public performance is an exciting and vital part of a well-rounded music education. All registered students have the opportunity to appear in performances throughout the school year; in addition, many faculty offer informal performance classes to their students on a regular basis. Nichols Concert Hall and Dempster Street Theater in Evanston; Thoresen Performance Center in Winnetka; Dickinson Hall in Lake Forest; and the Highland Park Community House in Highland Park provide superb performance venues for concerts, solo and ensemble recitals, musical theater performances, and workshops.
