Mainstream & Inclusion Support

  • Mainstream & Inclusion Support — fall Semester

MIC is committed to providing the best quality instruction to students of all ages and all abilities, including those students with special learning needs. All MIC students are entitled to four hours of free support and/or consultation from the inclusion team. The inclusion team is made up of a special education teacher, a clinical psychologist, and a board certified music therapist. MIC supports several models of inclusion and mainstreaming for all private, semi-private, group, and ensemble instruction. This program is available to all students, at all levels of skill, in all MIC programs. If you or your child has any special education needs, MIC is prepared to offer the best musical education while at the same time adapting the curriculum or lessons using state of the art tools and strategies.
