Youth Small Group Instruction — fall Semester

Small Group classes are a great way to be introduced to a new instrument and build skills while learning in a friendly environment with peers. MIC offers small group instruction in piano, guitar, voice, and percussion.

Youth Small Group Instruction Classes
  • Composer's Lab (ages 13-18; by audition)

Lab participants work on composition projects and meet bi-monthly to present their works in a master class setting. A reading group, which will be mentored by MIC faculty, plays works in progress as well as newly completed works. The lab provides an excellent opportunity for developing composers to work directly with skilled performers in improving their instrumentation skills and to gain valuable insight into refining their compositional techniques.
